I bought this at an estate sale just because I’ve never saw one before . But I no clue as to what it could be .. any ideas ..help please ..

It is a cast iron cobblers' anvil, used by shoemakers and repairers. Do a google image search for "cobblers anvil" or "shoe anvil" and you will find almost identical examples.
