Because I DID!!! Unbelievable I went back to the Fort property and my second hole was a solid 8” 13. Well there’s my old trusty nickel ok buffalo or V which one will it be? Nope what the heck is this?

Google- IT’S A PEWTER WAR OF 1812 INFANTRY BUTTON!!!!

I’m so happy to have found such a piece of history at a Fort. I am truly blessed [emoji1317] 56442721667__610294B7-1D1E-405E-85DA-0C453AC7D38B.JPG 56442722925__7364FC59-8E66-486D-8AD4-47D95C72498E.JPG 2675D54E-0655-4C06-BC75-796D9C907043.jpeg 88E2F279-0C87-4B9F-A1D6-6E7F6CB9B891.jpeg 4A7EF1E1-A2F3-4E21-BEB3-935CB460A950.jpg 8E6A31E0-9A28-4AE7-B541-06C1A55736EF.png

And also congratulations to my digging partner Possum for digging his first 1941 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Life is good

Amazing historic button! If only that button could talk, who knows what it saw in battle. Any type of military button is high on my want list, congrats on finding such a nice example of an early pewter one!

A2 my mind was blown when I found out what is was. All I knew it was pewter so it must be old. Man it just amazes me there’s still stuff like that in the ground. Over 200 years old...amazing.

I planted that half in a squared off area 5’ x 5’ and had to wait two hours for him to finally find it. Lol

jj I love my boy

Thanks Joe and I rarely find buttons. I told myself no mid tones today. Today I’m only doing high tones I want silver bad! First plug rusted bottle top second signal damn mid tone, couldn’t pass it up and this came out the ground. I gonna have to realize I’m just a mid tone trash digging dirty digger. I just get lucky every once in a while [emoji1317]
