Sweet! I seen it on Ebay this morning, it's a store demo, still new. Yep, I snatched it right up, should have it in a few days :icon_thumright:

But I'm new to the water thing... Sandman had made a comment to another thread of mine about the connector, so with a little searching I see that it's the connector to the housing.

Here's his quote: "Glad you found a Tiger Shark and you will be much happier. Try now to find a Clean Sweep Coil for the Tiger Shark as it will have the waterproof connector. You can use the other CSC's with a none waterproof adapter for land use."

So what does this mean, I shouldn't submerse the housing? No doubt that it should have a waterproof connector so if it doesn't come with one then what does it have? I'm confused.

The umax coils will work on the Tiger, using the adapter cord, but the coil connectors are not waterproof. So, Sandman means you can use the umax cleansweep coil, but not in the water. I often wanted to invent a waterproof coil connector cover, so that I could use the widescan DD 10 x 12 umax coil in the water, because where I water hunt, there is not much trash but the good targets are deep. Hope this helps, Niffler

Thanks Niffler, I should have made myself more clear to him and assumed he knew the standard coil he had with the Tiger is waterproof. There are still Clean Sweep Coils out there that you can find used for the Tiger Shark even though Tesoro doesn't make them anymore. You have to use the land coil like Niffler said and just keep the connector dry. You can't submerge the box unless you use the stock coil or find an orginal CSC.
