I KNEW somebody cursed me ...

I don't know about global warming, but study history. The Southern Plains have always been a land of extremes. 100 degree days for a month straight in summer and below zero temps every day for over a month in winter. Biggest drop I ever saw was 60 degrees, when it went from 50 in the day to 17 below that night, but there's been worse than that. After they invented the wind chill factor, I once camped and slept on the ground when with the 'wind chill factor' it was officially 50 below in SW Oklahoma. Of course I had sense enough to set up out of the wind. Great weather here in the Summit right now. 30's in the day and only down in the teens at night for a while.
