Hey fellow T-netters, maybe you've seen where I've been raving about my new coin tumbler I got for Father's Day...Well, today I dug cleaned dimes out of the tumbler, rinsed and dried them off, and it seems a shame to have all these pretty coins and not do something special with them. SOooo...here's a couple pictures of the dimes in this bowl...submit a guess on the total amount of dimes and whoever guesses the amount or is the closest will get shipped a 90% silver half. Not the lottery, i know....but Submissions close at 9:00 pm, est, this Friday, 06/23, and your silver half will be mailed Saturday. I've not counted them yet so I don't know either. Anyone wishing to change their answer is welcome to do so, before Friday nite. Good luck, thanks very much, Scotty...aka Ddf.

When you say "amount of dimes," are you talking number of dimes in the bowl or their cash value?

Either one, cjayc, whether it's the number of dimes or the $$ amount...good luck!

I'm not looking at the other guesses. I don't want to be influenced either way.

My guess is 675 dimes.

Thanks for the contest.

Make yourself a basket out of 1/2 inch expanded metal. This makes it a breeze to separate the coins from whatever else you put into the tumbler barrel. Then, you rinse the coins in the basket and pour them out on a towel for drying.

My guess is 67.80. HH ALL!

Thx xr7ator, the bb's I use for the final polish work great, but yes, are a royal pain to sort through when I'm done...great idea! Thx...Ddf
