I never saw a rattlesnake in the Wild

I just now realize When I was Young There was a Spot in the Woods on old mining roads
where it Never Failed, I would hear ths sound very loud all around me. & Thought it was Some type of Bird.





This made Me think to Check

Hey Jeff, got this one last week, we let him go in the state game lands. Could hear him going off 6 feet away, rattle was just goin like hell. It’s a black phase timber rattler, pretty common up in the woods here in Indiana county, You probably walked right by a dozen and never knew the sound..Western Pennsylvania is loaded with them.. When I was younger I usto go upto Emporium, they have the annual rattle snake hunt every year, those guys show up with sacks of them..
