I planned a short hunt today until i got outside NO WAY !!

I don't mind some heat its ok but when i saw 102* in my rear view mirror at 3 pm today i made it as far as 7-11 thank goodness for Slurpee.s 32 oz. my best find of the day .It has not rained here in 3 weeks Keep cool Dd60

I hear ya . I made it out this AM at 6 -1 PM. it was a barn burner.
no 7-11's round here unfortunately. I drank lots of ice cold water.

Indeed. Its just too freaking hot. I might see if my buddy wants to do some hunting on chesapeake bay colonial site beachy areas. At least we can take a swim to cool off. I really have the fever.

I know how you feel, my buddy and I started at 7am and finished at 3pm, but during that time we polished off an 8pack of 24 oz. powerade drinks, man it was hot!

I finally got out early this morning, not all that hot that early but it was just too muggy and stuffy, no air moving at all. Ground was hard as a rock. Hunted maybe an hour and came home. I just wasn't enjoying it all that much. Ah, but come Monday I'm heading north so I'm sure gonna make up for it!
