I saw gold in the hole but, then the let down

I when to a spot I have been hunting alot this summer. I found a gold ring, but its not real gold. I got excited at first then the let down. I did have an OK day 1 Wheatie 1944 and a round lead muzzle loader bullet, besides the normal clad coins. Hope to get out tomorrow morning again.
