I Searched $40 in Nickels Yesterday and Found...

...a 1912 Liberty Head Nickel! The nickels came from the same bank branch that has been producing silver dimes. The silver dime production has dropped off a bit. Two weeks ago, I found one silver dime (1947) in $200 searched. Yesterday I found two silver dimes (1951, 1960D) in $200 searched.

Looks like a 1912-D with something below the left lower dot?

I found a 1904 V Back nickel back in december

No, there's no mint mark. What you see is a small ding. Believe me--the first thing I did was check for a D or better yet an S.
