Hit a new permission again been kinda quiet. Got a tone that was an 18 on the nox popped out what I thought was a piece of aluminum foil then saw the word NEW. And knew that it was a cut shilling and was shocked to say the least I'm leaning towards an Oak Tree maybe someone here might be able to ID it for me.

Dude I can't believe I missed this post. Regardless of the variety, that is a banner find all day long! Maybe you saw my post of the fake 1652 pine tree shilling I found in my step father's coin collection? I'm sure that is as close as I will ever come. Lucky you...huge congrats!
