I Swung My Coil Under the Bushes...Look What I Found!

I spent four hours on the side strip of an elementary school and dug out about 80 coins! Swinging my coil under the bushes near the wall I dug out two surprises! A pocket watch and a 1945 silver quarter! 5 wheat pennies were also found. Silver quarters don't come up that often. It seems you have to dig 10 silver dimes to find just one....

Do you see a maker on the pocket watch? It has a mystery dial (where only the tips os the hands are visible) Ernie Borel was famous for these.

I concur Cool Hand silver GW's are hard to find! And I've swung my detector behind PLENTY of bushes and never found one lurking there. I'm jealous but I'll get over it. Keep up the good work(fun, I mean).
