Congrats on finding your first cob. It's a great feeling to hold that in your hand fresh out of the ground. I remember digging my first and staring at it in disbelief. I might have even said a couple of swear words as it sunk in.

Congratulations on finding this beauty...it looks like there may even be some "trader" or "chop" marks from the past on it (upper right photo), from someone in the past who wanted to know if it was a "real" Spanish cob too.
