I think I’ve officially started collecting omega

Top right yardsale a year ago. 10k gf
Top left from today.
Blue chrono stop was from a friend.
Bottom left today.
Gold filled manual wind at a fleamarket in the shop
And a 2nd one in the shop as of today.

Now need a speedmaster and a consultation, which i had once and sold it.

Hey beach Kid Can you get the Soccer timer open? I would love to see a picture of the movement. This particular Omega is highly faked. Most of them on eBay right now are fakes that everyone thinks are real.
If you would like run it through some tests?
Is the omega on the dial painted on or is it a thin applied metal logo?
When you pull the crown does the time stop? Is the movement a double roller? (Fast ticking Fluid motion on second hand)
When you open the watch there is a traceable serial number engraved in the case back You can research it to a soccer timer
Cal 861 movement should be that glorious omega copper color never all stainless
I don't know for sure but I am curious about the light engraving on back as it should be embossed or cast into the case back as well as the lack of the omega symbol below the horse.

The latter being one of the biggest tells on a fake speedmaster as well as a non working gas release.

Im learning more and more about these everyday and I would love to see the movement and the caseback?

I quit selling my watches. I got tired of kicking myself in the @$$ every time they went up after I did

Maybe this is a good hobby. I used to collect baseball cards back in the day. Every time after I bought one it went down. To worthless now just about. Waisted alot of $$ on them things.

There are 3 on ebay in Japan. In gray. 2 that sold in gray. No white. But search doesnt go back far.

My attic is full of baseball cards. Will make good fuel if it is a bad winter here.

Hi, thanks for the comments! I need to decide if I’m keeping this or what, however I did buy a shirt to match it today....

The gold one I dont have anymore. I sold it to my watch maker friend. I can ask him the number on it tomorrow though. I did’t lime how thick it was. The soccer timer is a good fit.
