Today after my lunch our in the afternoon I remembered that my wife asked me to drop off a letter at the US post Office.

The US Post Office is across the street from the bank I work for and close to it there is another bank
On my way to my drop bank I always stop at this bank to ask for halves by they never, never have anything to the point that if the line is too long I do no even bother to go to ask.

Today before dropping the letter at the US Post Office I decided to go to this bank. It was empty and before
I got to the sign saying, "please wait here", a lady teller calls me and tells me, "hey, you did not come yesterday". "I have one half". She gives me the halve and it was clad but I still took it. I do not like to get them ideas of what I am looking for. Then the teller next this lady teller tells me, " I have about $35in halves. Do you want them". I say, 'yes". She gave me 10 loose halves and tree envelopes with $10 in halves each. All the halves were Kenn, below is the outcome:

1967P X 7
1968D X 6
1969D X 1
TOTAL 14 40% SILVER, NOT BAD FOR JUST $35 IN HALVES and considering that I do CRH just at lunch

My camera takes photos the same size. Open the file in Paint, and in the drop down menu, look for resize image. Enter a percentage and click ok. I usually have to reduce my pictures to 60% of the origional size or smaller. Between this and the macro button, I am usually able to get good shots. Sometimes I have to take 5-8 pictures to get a good one. Takes a VERY steady hand.

And great job on the coinage!! Silver is superb!!

Nice score  a far as pics turn down the resolution it is way too high at 2048x 1536 ... 640x 480 is good or 1600x 1200 is too ... lol dont feel bad I did the same thing with my new camera I had pics of walkers and 2 of them would fill the screen , Ed

glad to hear you made some good finds Darth...considering you work in a bank i'm surprized you haven't had more luck searching your own bank
as far as the pics macro is the way to go but very hard to hold steady for a clear pic...use a tripod or lean against something to steady with
640x 480 is good or 1600x 1200 is too
not so sure about that as the sticky post says no bigger than 500 on the first #
for resizing the pic download Gimp from windows ...its a free photo shop program you can download off the internet...use this to crop the image down....either that or email the pic to yourself and your email will size it automatically
good luck...pm me if you have any more questions
