Got a dime (not silver), an older nickel, a 1944 wheat penny, and a bunch of copper pennies. Found everything in my back yard!
It was lots of fun, but I honestly have no clue how to use my metal detector. I borrowed it form my boss and he didn't have a manual. I can't find one online either. It's a Bounty Hunter Big Bud XL, and it has dials that I have no idea how to use on the thing. Managed to find this stuff by going after some of the bigger hits.
Tomorrow I'm going to go to the nearby baseball park and check under the bleachers. There are like 20 fields at this park, and games all throughout the week, should be lots of change I hope.

edit: after checking under a microscope, I noticed that I also had a 1941 wheat penny! It's in poor condition, but it's one I don't have in my Dansco album yet!
