undisputed heavy-weight champion Token Finder. Hit a stand of woods near a cemetary today. OUTSIDE...not....INSIDE. First hit was a 55-D wheaty. 12 pennies in all, 2 quarters, and 30 tokens!!

I also dug a cute little copper water spigot-nozzle-faucet....thingy. I would like to see the ornamentation of the handle, but, I like it just the way it is.

Sunday I was out in the woods near my house and, believe it or not, I found a keg out there!!! It has been out there for several years. A couple of small trees were growing right at each end of it!! Still had a quart or so of old beer and a lot of air pressure inside!! MY KEG!!!! Budweiser...mine...all mine....Also found a nutcracker and some sort of light-duty trailer hitch. I am guessing it mounted for something like a lawnmower or similar sized vehicle.

Dug a plate off some sort of furnace for home or office use. Can't tell. Didn't care. The disk is from a previous dig. The front has Pat. Oct. 20 .08 (as in 1908). On the back are two pontil-type marks and a '141'.

I am on track to break a thousand digs for January!!

Thanks for looking!

do you use some sort of counter to keep track of the holes you dig? Bob
No. I just count the pieces as I seperate the keepers from the trash and then update whenever I have something fair to post or whenever I have coins to log.

I thought about returning the keg. Someone has already paid for it. Class rings are one thing to return, but, when a person leaves beer lying around it's fair game. I am thinking of making a smoker out of it. I have already figured out where I am going to put the door. Now to figure out where the racks go. On the other hand the deposit money could go toward a new machine or coil or something!! I gotta sleep on that one.
