Took a road trip to the dunes new years weekend. Lots of erosion and found a lot of clad , but no rings. Sure was a lot of medical waste washed up. The following weekend I took my wife and oldest granddaughter to the reservoir for some relic hunting. The water is probably at its lowest point, with old foundations and caves exposed. We had a great time. Found some clay marbles, shell buttons and stuff. Best part, we were out in good weather in January :laughing7: My wife found me two nice boat anchors as a bonus. The V nickle is 1895. I dug that on my uncles farm just before Christmas.Lets have some more of this global warming :laughing9: Thanks for looking.

Yeah it sure was nice to be able to get out in January for a bit and the weather was somewhat cooperative at best.

Nice finds Kevin :icon_thumleft:

What is the token in the pic. and where's it from?

DJH

Sorry, forgot the token. It says Wayne Hotel, the house of hospitality, Fort Wayne. Reverse says, good for 50 cents merchandise. It's aluminum, so late 30s or 40s would be my guess. Not much, but some digging is better than non at all. Kevin

Nice bit of finds. I find glass buttons like those all the time in the pits we dig. Nice token. jgas
