Went ice fishing for the first time this season and caught this 22 1/2" Walleye.

great catch...I've got a nephew in cable and go up there for some winter camping and wolf counts every January...how thick is the ice already

Looked like two inches of clear ice with a three inch layer of ice snow mix on top....Not that good but safe enough for foot traffic and the jacket I was wearing is a flotation device.
