I dug this metal detecting at an old church in Atlanta GA it is lead if you look at the first pic it has some designs like little lines I believe it’s threaded in the middle hole

Not a church bell pulley; those things are HUGE.
Something smaller.

chain pump part ? can't find an old photo but here is what they look like now.
not likely a pully if made of lead.

It is unusual for lead to have been so corroded that it is all pitted. Could it be an alloy? If so, that would be more in line with its being a pulley. Lead is too soft for moving parts, normally.

Yes, and I would think too soft for threads in the hole.
I could see using lead (or an alloy) if the object was a flywheel, but it seems too small for that too.
