Moneta standing left, holding scales and cornucopia
Don....

Legend on the right probably reads: IMP C FL VAL CONSTANTINVS P F AVG (Constantine I)
Don....

Mint mark in the area of the exergue appears to be 'AQS': Aquileia (Italy)
The Roman mint there was open 294-324 AD and 334-430 AD.

Spoke to soon. This is Hercules. I believe Mackaydon referred to Constantine I. Back to searching

[Mackaydon]

Constantine I ruled from 306 to 337. The 'AQS': Aquileia (Italy) mint was open 294-324 AD and 334-430 AD.
Therefore, I believe the coin was minted either between 306 and 324 AD or between 334 and 337 AD.

A jeweler said its silver

Really? Never use that jeweler again unless you want to scrap your bronze for silver.

[garyo1954]

First good chuckle of the day! Thanks Crusader!

I'd scrap all my bronze to that guy as long as he was paying silver prices for it. LOL

[gemstonefinder]
