Found this at Guana State park beach today.

you sure do post the small... obscure and hard to identify pieces.
Did you find any whole ones to toss into the post just for fun?
I hunt that area of the coast occasionally and there is so much ware and such a polish on some of them it's hard to tell what they were.

You should find a lot of Sand Shark bull shark and and dusky teeth in that area

The bone in question is an otolith . . . that is, an ear bone. See if it's one of these:

Its looking like a dolphin ear bone I think! I picked it up and thought it had to many details to not look into. I've been finding a bunch of teeth so far; but these types of things are really interesting to me.
