Found this little object while magnet fishing off a dock in a small river. Thought it looked like some sort of pellet or small bullet. Maybe those with more experience can tell me. Ive been magnet fishing only about two weeks.8-)

Sure looks like some type of Rivet. Maybe a steel boat rivet ?

The rivet looking thing does look like a rivet. Could be the little thingy that goes on the end of some control cables to secure it in a slot or recess.Think throttle cable maybe! Scythe blade is a good guess on the blade thingy.

Before welding became popular a lot of small boats were put together with pitch or tar as a sealer between metals and they were riveted together
