I’d like to see some colors

I’ve been fortunate to find some nice colors in the artifacts I find. Of course like anyone else I have some that aren’t colorful. But I’d like to see some of the ones everyone has found maybe your favorite color. All 3 of these were found in the same creek I used to have permission to look in.

I find these by the bucket full in the NV desert

Are those flakes from ancient knapping? The variety of colors is amazing.

This one is wet but shows some red which I believe might be garnet and the white quartz crystals. When dry it’s solid black

yes, all flakes from knapping. Sometimes you find a spot with 8 or 10 of the exact same flakes all clustered together, those I don't touch, they tell a story.... some guy sat right there, however long ago, and flaked a point. I can wander these spots and pick up fist sized and bigger cobbles of red, orange, yellow, brown, or mixed color jaspers. NV is like a giant beach to beachcombing on . Full of western history too.

Not sure on the type maybe a Gary style but boy those stripes are something special.
The drill is a killer color to.
