Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love that key. Why can't I find one that wicked cool?

Thanks, I love to find old keys, one of my favorite things. Trivet, possibly (I wont lie, I had to google search what a trivet was). But would they be made of iron?

Yep. Here's one I dug a few months ago at an 1800's property.

Good Job on The ID M.M.!
Now I need to google trivet myself to see what the heck it is! :laughing7:

Rob,
What's that expression about a squirrel getting a nut? :icon_scratch: :tongue3: :laughing9:
A trivet is for putting a hot pan or pot on. I actually learned that here on Tnet.

Yup, lots of cast iron trivets. I collect them, but don't have any super old ones, so I can't speak specifically to this heart object. Does it have feet? Usually they have 3-4 feet to hold them off the table. I'm wondering about the center hole, and what seems to be some circular holes on the edges?

To be sure, I think you should post it in What Is It with dimensions, and see if someone knows for sure. It's not a common pattern I recognize, but again, I'm an amateur.

It certainly is a neat find tho!!! :hello2:
