It's definitely a nice one.
There are many notched expanding stem points in your area.
Without knowing what other points were found in association with it its tuff but I would think it was a Tipton if I found it... but I don't know Iowa very well.
 
It was found in Iowa GB, and a Hardin, perhaps Tipton, early Woodland, probably not a recent find, unless no plant/spray. Don't know..
We have some really nice finds here in the corn state.

I found this in June in an area I hit pretty hard. Must of overlooked it a few times. Amazing it was still intact.
