I'm sure Idaho is very lenient, Idaho falls under the 1876 Miners Act. You should be able to get specific information from one of these clubs.

Idaho is pretty open, generally. I live in the North end of the state so can't help you much on locations where you'll be. If you wish to hunt in a state park, I'd double check with the staff to make sure and as in most cases shy away from historical sites or other obvious dubious choices. I have yet to have a problem in a city park, but look for signs and be low impact as possible.
