Are there any MD laws i need to know about in Idaho?We are getting out of California for a week and i dont want to get busted for not knowing the rules up there.My wifes mother is 84 and lives in New Plymouth. Is there anything close to go mding? My mother inlaw wants to go mding before her health gets worse.Thanks AA

I'm sure Idaho is very lenient, Idaho falls under the 1876 Miners Act. You should be able to get specific information from one of these clubs.

Idaho is pretty open, generally. I live in the North end of the state so can't help you much on locations where you'll be. If you wish to hunt in a state park, I'd double check with the staff to make sure and as in most cases shy away from historical sites or other obvious dubious choices. I have yet to have a problem in a city park, but look for signs and be low impact as possible.
