Identified: Victorian Picture Hanger

These two buttons and unidenfied object were found in the Richmond, VA area, off of Monument avenue. The lot has a home built on it in 1905.

I was told it was from the colonial era, and was a buckle/clip used on a shoe.

Any info would be appreciated.
