If it wasn't true it might be funny!

Casa D'Ice restaurant in North Versailles, PA.
The owner changes the signs when he gets another idea...
Or just wants to make a [political] statement.

There is a definite grey line between what may be offensive and what is the true attitude of a great many of the citizens within our society...

There is no question but that the owner of the Casa D'Ice Restaurant is definitely making both a social and political statement.

To be politically correct is like picking up a turd by the clean end...

Here the owner of the Casa D'Ice Restaurant is actually calling a turd a turd...

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

I'm not disagreeing with you, but we must be aware that no matter what is said or the words used, someone, somewhere, will be offended...

Hell, I could just say hello...and someone will take offence..

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

He definately uses some words that some would find offensive but I like his honesty. I may not agree with everything he says but it takes a lot of guts to do what he is doing. I think there are a lot of people out there that wish they could say exactly what they think without having to sugarcoat it by being "politically correct". Kudo's to him

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

Spent some time looking at the collection...some great chuckles...

The sign contents are like a barometer of average citizen....now if only the President could read and respond to correct the national problems...

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

I love it! What is it they say about the truth?

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

I see this place all the time, it's just a few miles from me.
Just typical western Pa. attitude, the area has been a
melting pot since the 1800's when millions came to work
in the mills & mines. Very few here find ethnic names or
joking offensive. No quarter given or expected. Nobody
here is special or privelaged. Just say it like it is.

Same here . Out where we live "We is what we is ." PC only comes into play when we cross into the city limits of Morgantown .

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

Merry Christmas!

If that isn't offensive, I dunno what is.

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

:) I'm sure it is to some, but none that I know. Also, we are celebrating
Independence Day tomorrow, IMO, the 4th of July just doesn't say enough.

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

Yes it is, my friend. Hopefully, we will keep that spirit & enjoy the freedoms & the legacy
so many sacrificed & died for to entrust to our care. I pray we never let them down.
God Bless America & guard us against the evil that is socialism.

Re: If it wasn't true it might be funny!

it is still funny, even if it is true.

i haven't checked out that web site yet.... but i can already say that i wish they were closer to me, so that i could help support that establishment  , to be politically correct is to say that you agree with censorship.
remember it's always best to tell it like it is, and speak straight, for if you don't the biggest one that you are lying to is yourself,

i could never be a politician... because i enjoy telling the truth too much to give it up ;D .

( that was soo funny, i couldn't have said it better, great post )
