If only it's real...

Hunted my old football field again this evening, was a nice hunt...

Decided that I would dig all signals - I hunted with pulltabs included, and I basically dug 2 kinds of signals: anything big and banging (aluminum or not), and the weaker, funkier signals... overall I dug 31 trash items, including pulltabs, pencil erasers, wads of foil, can slaw, fence wire, and some whatzits... but I did manage to find a few coins, including a couple of nickels...

But one thing almost gave me a heart attack... and I'm still not certain if it's real or not... I dug this enormous earring at no less than 7'... I'm gonna go by a pawn shop in the morning before work and have it tested... it may not be real, but just knowing I can find something like this is exciting...

Nice going. Sometimes those iffy signals pay off.

That is a nice CZ..Not the real thing but a cool find non the less..

Just asking as a curiosity..are you saying it's a CZ based on the fact that it looks to be a base metal look underneath the mounting and the back is a push on instead of a screw-on for a stone that size?

I tend to concur GF. Been looking at them for about 16 years. Fisherman, don't take our word for it. Have it tested and let us know. Best of luck on the outcome. 8)
