If You Like Crazy Bugs Look Now. First Standing Lib Of The Yr. Plus A Bunch More

[JerV3]

Hello everyone,

Been a few weeks or so since I have posted. Haven't been hunting a whole lot this yr. Just on the weekends for a few hrs here and there. I got a little side tracked over the last month.

I had a friend in from town. He lives in FL. He can't hunt like I hunt. It's just to much on hiss back and body. So instead of leaving one another I stuck around open area's and had to try real hard to find anything.

Got alot of rare clad not shown. Tons of relics were found also. But not shown. We tested some different area's together and just had a good time getting out.

However, on one of the outings I was able to pull out a deep standing lib no date like usual quarter. I love to find these coins. Just the first one this yr. They are hard to find.

On another outing me and my son went by an old cabin site. I was able to sqeeze out three colonial flat buttons. Plus the craziest larva looking bug I ever saw.

He went into the pouch to take home for a pic. I had to get a pick of this crazy thing. It was a really big one to. Looked like a c02 cartridge for a pellet gun size wise.

I also got a really nice indian. It's a common date but the way it held up was great. In P.a they don't come out nice at all. This one was a real beauty.

Other than that I hope to get out this fall and strike a nice site somewhere.

Thanks for looking

HH Jer

Great stuff Jeremy.
The bug belongs in a Star Wars movie.

I just recently pulled a 1927 SLQ....my first with a good date......AND THEN I LOST IT!!! (it's somewhere at home...probably)

Say hey to your Bro for me.

[Boobydoo]

Great to see you are getting out a bit Jer, congrats on the SLQ and other silvers, buttons, etc. Keep getting out and sharing my friend. Nice finds.

That bug is the thing nightmares are made of. Eeeek.

Smiles!

Wow, what a nice coin. I love the way they look when they come out of the ground, it makes a find much more beliveable.

HH and good luck.

Nice coins, PA buddy! Gotta love the sound of wilver on the DFX!

[Evolution]

I like the buttons and buckle. The IH has great detail. SLQ's are always nice. Looks like a great day overall in my book. One of the buttons has some writing on it. Can we get a closer pic?

Is it me or does that indian look like someone scratched their initials in the front of it?

[Natman]

Great finds..the IH looks almost new!

The bug was a caterpillar once if it's a larvae now..they turn into these really big moths that are much nicer looking than what's in your pic

Nat

Good to hear from ya, Jer. Those coins are droolerific. :P

That larvae might be from a cecropia moth. We found a caterpillar while we were on vacation that was similar.

Nice stuff Jer. I love finding the SLQ's. I have found three already this year. It seems like you find the Barber Quarters more than the SLQ's. For me it's the other way around.

That IH looks great too as does the other silver.
