Got out to the regular spot for a couple hours last night and my streak of Indian heads continues! 4 straight hunts since the first time finding one. Finds:
1907 Indian head
1903 Indian head
5 wheats
RR C2 lead seal (I believe to be a railroad bag seal)
Gear
A weight for a scale (super heavy)

Great finds
Keep up the hunt.

Another lead bale seal

Here is the 1st lead bale/bag seal that I found in same place. It reads "Port Nigra Falls Ont" and "Canada VR..." can't make out the last part.

Didn't know these were cool, but I love it now!

I've found a couple seals but I really like that niagra falls one

nice finds! what kind of program you hunting with?

For the last two weeks or so I have only used one program and my game has stepped up! I am using my CLEANDEEP program that I posted in the sticky thread. looks a little something like this:

Sensitivity 99
- expert= TX power
Frequency 11.8
Iron volume 2
Reactivity 1
- expert= Silencer -1
Audio response 5
Notch 00-00
Discrimination 0
- expert= 5 tones

I am always open to feedback, suggestions or thoughts on my program(s).

I wonder what that would be like with full tones? I only run full tones in my deep and trash programs . what you got tx on 3? I mainly hunt irony sites ,do you have much iron where your at?

Oh it cut my TX off there, sorry! I run TX at 2, but bump it up to 3 if needed. This is a heavily iron infested area. Can't make too many clean swings without hitting some iron. I had another program that was notched for iron, but I was just not finding as much. This is a much noisier program, but I am getting used to it and producing a lot more.

I have only tried full tones once, but I was not comfortable with the tones. I am sure I will get there, but I have my 5 tones really set to what I like with my ears. I am not getting much silver (seems to be dialed in to the IHPs), so either I am not hearing the silver correctly or there isn't any left.

Ive got a program that kills in picking silver from trash and any other non ferrous target.
sens 86 tx 1
audio responce 3 or 4< full tones
reactivity 3
silencer -1
iron audio 0
11 kh
discrim 0
notch nothing
this program will pick it out all you have to do is listen for a rise in the pitch of the tones iron will be the low grunt and anything above that dig. this program works real good because the (DEEPER) non ferrous targets will be a little high pitched squeal the deeper the fainter the signal. This allows you to cheery pick from the iron it works very well at unmasking the good targets its not a deep program 6in or so on a coin but the rewards of unmasking are great.IF you can get used to the full tones this program kills in the trash. I like the bale seal never found one. if your interested in this program pm me and ill give you my number and I will tell you about it.
