My head hunting partner scored this Neuberger yesterday in Cent.IL. Neuberger's are early archaic, thin and very well made. Sometimes serrated. Material looks sort of like Attica IN green. Not a common point but they turn up now and then. Gary

Nice. Is the Afton looking spot on the left edge diagnostic of that type?

When he sent me a pic of it that's the first thing I said...it looks like an Afton. No, the extra "point" is not a Neuberger trait. The do often have a recurved needle tip. I'll post a pic of one here later that doesn't have any damage. Gary

Here's a Neuberger that is more of the classic form. Recurved needle tip and serrations. Always very well made. I found this one along the Okaw River in Moultrie Co. IL. Gary
