Illinois Shreriff refuses to evice Innocent Renters

An outraged sheriff in Illinois who refuses to evict "innocent" renters from foreclosed homes criticized mortgage companies Thursday and said the law should protect victims of the mortgage meltdown.

These folks are paying their rental payments, the mortgage holder doesn't pay his mortgage, and the RENTER gets evicted!

Sure am glad SOMEONE has a conscience . . . 'cause the bankers sure don't!!!

Ooops . . . stepped on big business again. Bad, bad, bad! Let's give em a few extra billion . . . while they still foreclose on these properties.

Good for that Sheriff.. all of this mess the entire economy and bailing out everyone is a disgrace..the politicians need to be fired and NOT allowed to maintain any positions in our government..some need to go to jail along with the ceo's and their outrageous pays and payoffs.. ok am stopping feel the blood pressure rising..

Evict those folks that got America in this mess and give them nice accommodations in the County Jail!!!

One lady he refused to evict had paid rent on this home for 20 years, and no late payments. Sounds like the bank should offer to let her buy the home with that kind of payment history, but they want the quick turn around instead.
