Well it's been some time since I have been on here. It's been a rough few year's. Had covid 4 times, had a log truck hit me almost head on while I was driving my fuel tanker. I have made some finds before the wreck.
This is a canal coal piece that was found on my Poverty Point site in N.E. La. It's an effigy of a claw. Glad to be back and I hope you like this artifact.

Glad you’re back in the Saddle!

That’s a unique artifact. I’ve not heard of a claw ‘effigy’ before. Seems strange not to just wear a claw.
Here on the east coast of New England I’ve seen whale tails, whale, bear, birds, turtles, an awesome seagull (see Charl) and even a salamander in various publications and collections.
Cool find!

So glad to see you back and glad you made it through 4 times covid and the head on thing! I was just once again looking over the artifacts you sent me way back, I love them so much! I managed to escape covid until last week, it was pretty rough and 8 days in I'm still testing positive, got a nagging cough too. The claw effigy is amazing! You have the best artifacts there.

Glad your still kicking dirt. I've taken leave several times myself. Age brings issues up that one never has to deal with when young. Keep telling myself I'm 27 and not 72, and it doesn't work most of the time.
