Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Finally got PT on my shoulder and completed earlier this year. Recently bought a AT pro and a ace 400 for a great deal so me ans my friend can go (I'll post our funds soonish) I let her take my AT pro back to long island to detect some farm land she has available to her and her house. She founs this. The location of the number is throwing me off. Any help would be nice! These are the photos she took and I had her compare it to another coin for size

I'm sorry, I still do not understand the number you refer to. Is it the I.D. number showing on the detector? "bot" sure of the number? Just not getting what you mean. Must somehow just be me.

Not* I think it may be this. I don't have the physical coin but judging by the location of date yeah. And shes afraid to clean it. She's a newbie.

Water and a soft tooth brush should do it. Yes condition is everything with this type stuff so in dug condition the worth is less than in non dug condition. Even so, could be a good find, but you'll never know unless it's clean enough to ID it.

OK then, got it. It is not a "real coin" as such. I have found a couple of these in the past. Presidential "Tokens" is what I call them. Many of them for different presidents like a very small history lesson on each, as in "collect the whole set" sort of thing. I notice the $100 price tag? Not in this world at least. I think many of these were handed out as Promotions? like get ca fill up at a gas station and receive a Presidential coin. Really good pictures, as soon as I seen them I knew. I and others know that when you get a signal and dig it up, you really get that thrill, until you realize that a real coin it is not. But then, that is what the hobby is all about. You just never know. Thank you Sheiswe.

I believe both of you are on the right track as I happened to find similar results... but not for $100:laughing7:
Looks like a George Washington commemorative coin and made of brass.

Here are a couple of ebay listings:
