Xp deus make me sadd, at this point even if the coil did come out I wouldn’t get one .Unless they fix the gold prospecting problem and it is better than the other two machines.first they tell us . It was coming out beginning of the year then March and April and May then June and we still don’t have it and then it don’t work. Bummer. they were on such a good role. Think I’m gonna put this deus 2 as a back up..move on

What coil are you talking about? The smaller elliptical coil? It's out. I have one, and so do a few others on the forums. I couldn't tell you how it does on small gold (I wish I were fortunate enough to have that around here to find), but what little I've seen so far, I expect it would be good.

Small real gold not jewelry stuff…. I know that they will probably fix the computer part of it maybe make the numbers read right but listening to Merrill last night they don’t seem to wanna fix the numbers because they say that’s how they made. The high frequency works so good with the gold which it doesn’t work. It’s more of the we’re gonna come out with this coil so I didn’t buy other things to go gold prospecting because I was expecting this to be worthy now it’s prospecting time they have not come out with it. I still did not get a gold detector. I like Merrell’s detecting Bible. But it does not seem like he is being honest or he’s being super secretive or hiding things. He’s lost a lot of his reputation over this coil ,I think .. I have always been loyal to XP. I have bought four of their machines in the last years but I think now I’m going to move onto a different company. Keep him as a back up.

I payed over 1 month and 24 days ago .got pissed canceled my order last week. I made the decision by the way XP treated American customers. Sometimes the silence is defining.my CTx3030 by far out did my deus ,I moved from San Diego “beach life” to farm life sold the ctx3030 ,getting to old it’s heavy. Started back up here in Idaho ,went for light compact . Deus 2 good machine… I don’t know if it’s ML sound or minelab just performed better or just I performed better with it.i think probably the Manacore and the deus 2 are pretty damn equal.i may get the small coil this winter..400.00 that’s a lot of money for just an add-on coil to get in a few tight spots that doesn’t do anything special. i’m on SSDI and that’s like five month savings for me. I think I’ll save another 510 months and get something extra nice. lol I don’t know in my old age. I get pissy when I’m told I would get something and then it doesn’t come out. I don’t mind being told you can buy this and it won’t come out for six months but I better get it in six months. Don’t tell me it’ll be out by mid month and two months later three people have it and they only have it so as XP can make money .for two months we’ve been watching this coil not a word from Xp ..just saying With all the shit going on in the world, I know this doesn’t matter, but I hate getting dissed by a company, that I’m giving my good money to. I have bought “2” deus 1’s got one stolen off my motorcycle so I bought another one. And deus 2 ,and orx . Thought the deus 2 being water proof, small and lightweight would be my last detector, but then I got up here into the gold fields. and it just does not perform well then the talk of this little coil came out great coil I held off on buying stuff for almost a year waiting for this coil. I probably shouldn’t have going out today and don’t even know if my machine will tell me if there’s a nickel and a quarter next to each other, my confidence has lost in the deus 2 b3.03- going back to 2.0 until they stop experimenting on us and fix the damn machine. I’m not mad or anything. I’m just disappointed sad.

I’m not sure what to tell you. The coil is shipping, just not enough of them to fill all orders yet. I’ve waited longer for other preorder products from other companies (not detector related). As for the software, beta software is *expected* to have problems. That’s why it’s beta.

lol ,sorry no disrespect to you at all but five coils being shipped out after three months of being told they were supposed to be here isn’t getting them out. And I’m not smart enough to know what a beta program is compared to a non-beta program but I know when I pay all of my money that I have been saving up, I expect the program to work. and I do understand new products and things need to be tested and tried out. I’m not worried about the beta program as much as I am the coil not working as they said it would…. But I’m over it now. I am going to buy another machine and use my #Deus 2 as my back up. $400. Was just to much anyways. I’m not saying that any machine is better than any other machine are their systems the way they make them run are any better than anybody else’s I just say I don’t like getting treated like #$%&@ . This might be a combination of the dealers wanting to start getting money in and jumping the gun and XP kinda given them the OK but they weren’t ready it says we don’t give a shit about the customers. We just care about the money. Like I said, I like the machine it’s just not my favorite sounding machine so maybe that’s the reason .I don’t know .i do know I’m gonna go get a new detector, I just have to save up a little more.
It’s OK I’ve screwed up more things in life on principle than not ,so if it turns out to be a great coil. I’ll be happy for everybody.

I ordered, and payed back in the beginning of May.
In conversation with the dealer he honestly didn't think the coil would be delivered pre June 11th.
In a text last Friday it hasn't even been approved by the FCC yet.
Yes the roll out is like every other roll out.

The production didn't meet the demand, even they stated that on a podcast.

Beta is a testing platform and they're on 3.4 now?
So as coils are put on the machines testers, regular folks will find out things that work and don't work.
Things in the different versions will get ironed out over a period of time.
To expect no glitches on a new release well I have to just say that you might have set the bar too high.
But you are on full rant at about a coil that you canceled.
If you rely totally on influencers that test, market, or whatever then it is what it is.

Personally I am not going to be making any calls on a product that I haven't received yet.
I certainly take YOUTUBE VIDEO PRODUCTIONS with a big grain of salt.

Air testing over 2x4s boxes, foam, in basements, backyards, VERY CONTROLLED conditions isn't realistic.

Maybe just one of those gold detecting machines that have #000 from Minelab.
The 7000 have been proven.

Real gold nugget test have be performed and it did miserably .maybe you have not seen it . And I agree with you YouTube is not.the last word on anything ,and air test “?” Don’t go by them much Except for ID. And I agree with you I do not know shiiiittt about this new coil. I do know that I was told it would be here and it is not. I do know. I was told that it would do gold prospecting and it does not by the test I have seen so far that’s all I can go by because they won’t give us a coil in the first place to test ourselves. We are just as good as pay streak or new York med Detectorists or anybody else . and I am not a stupid man I do understand computers and testing and products. I also understand customer relationships, and I can also see when people aren’t telling the truth in the video their word body language. It’s not just one thing it’s the whole group of things I’m probably just pissed off that I didn’t get my coil, I’m not disappointed that I canceled my order and I think if more people brought up their feelings and didn’t hide behind “beta” and other things they would tell their truth about it . I think this is all I’ll say about it just disappointed in a company that I thought was on the ball not mad at anybody not even upset SORRY .about my spelling and punctuation. I am definitely not smart when it comes to spelling stuff.

I got mine last week from a dealer in Fla. I got it to replace the DEUS I for small gold in playgrounds, I ran a test on some small gold I've got and in the gold mode its VERY sensitive.
this small gold chain and cross was dug by the DEUS 1, with elliptical, both clearly pick up the cross, but even though neither actually pick up the chain, the DEUS II picks up the clasp on either end, I can't say for sure if they would be diggable signals because I was laying it out and testing it.. but my opinion is that it's More sensitive than the DEUS I.

St. Croix has a good warranty, so you should be able to send it back and get a replacement.
Depending on the model, there could be a fee, but it's a hell of a lot less than a new rod.

Fished with Lamiglass for the past 20 years, and never had any kind of issue with a warranty
replacement.

As for your coil issue, I don't have a Deus, but with any new item I wait about a year after it's
been released, then buy it. That way the bugs get worked out before I spend my $$.

Same reason I'm waiting buy the HF2 coil. I learned in my other hobby (radio scanners), buying the product hot off the assembly line of the first run can be very frustrating.

It’s almost too late to get a new coil to learn . in late October -Nov the ground starts to be frozen around here. I only got three -4 months left.this year .lol since I canceled my order I am now so far down on a waiting list if I wanted one I wouldn’t get one until next year anyways.. Sometimes it pays to be inpatient sometimes not so much. I do think that three small chains would pay for the coil. I can pick up small chains with my 9 inch coil in gold mode if I’m paying attention. i’ve been using Goldfield in the parks. Find a lot of broken jewelry small stuff. Definitely find any clasp on a chain but the EMI sometimes would be nice to eliminate. I think it’s a good coil, but I think I screwed myself on a waiting list so probably next year .

I went threw this totlot twice in sensitive ft and something else then went through it in Goldfield and dug the small foil # “gold “except for one number that is guaranteed to be foil. Everything else I take. Really pay attention to the real low slight little hump that’ll read a 2530 something real low and doesn’t sound right that’s the chain. No chain in this picture, but this was this morning.
