I think it might be a coin made by this role playing club - ? The reverse design looks like what they use for one of their badges.

Brablefind, The logo is definitely the same, and the word at the bottom of my coin seems to say "meridies". I looked through the thread from the other group and googled some key words, etc. These role play groups, if the have a coin, use English or Latin (like) words. The words on this coin are not familiar to me.

I found they have a Facebook page so I just sent them a message. I will let you know if I hear anything back

Getting a lot of interest from this post on our discussion group. The main question is - where was it found? And FYI - we're not a role-playing group (that's the LARPers), we're more of a hands-on living history re-creation group. I hope to have more info for you soon.
