Cosmetic Dental Care is a costly process and it takes a large amount of time. That is why proper maintenance of teeth which have undergone cosmetic dental treatments is a must. The cosmetic dental processes include teeth implants, veneers and teeth whitening. After the treatment your dentist will issue you a proper cleaning and eating routine. If you follow this systematically the effects of the Cosmetic dental care process will remain long. Otherwise you will have to visit the dentist for a replacement of the veneer or an extra teeth whitening session.
Of you take care of your teeth especially while eating most of the external dental fixtures are likely to remain for a long time. You will have to stay away from hard and chewy food materials that are likely to stick to your teeth. Avoid bubble gums, caramel, taffy, popcorns, nuts etc. You also need to take care while biting into fruits like apples and sugarcanes. You can slice them to small pieces or can juice them. If you are eating any of the about materials make sure that you floss afterwards to remove pieces that might stick to your teeth.
Cosmetic dental care processes include enforcing your teeth with veneers, crowns etc. that are made of porcelain or ceramic. If you bite into hard or chewy materials there are chances that they might break. Stay away from red wine, grape juice, tea, coffee or similar beverages, that are likely to stain your teeth. Keep in mind that unlike natural teeth the artificial ones cannot be whitened.
