Not disputing D C Matt but I have some that look like the one in the picture and some like the one you found. Maybe just a different version of the same thing. Not exactly sure but have someone I can ask who might know. If I get a definitive answer I will let you know.

Hmmm I did, it’s similar but not sure. Man I hope it is though, I got it soaking in vinegar, will post again soon

Sorry but the size is wrong and the composition of CW knapsack hooks is brass not iron. Vague resemblance yea but that’s not what this item is.
