Got a screamer of a signal this weekend, knew it wasn't deep...like on top of the group...got a cool shot of this 1878 Indian partially buried, but visible! Click the thumbnail to make it larger...it's worth it!

Nice. Years ago I had a field like that. After plowing, I found some great coins right on the surface including a great 1804 half cent, 1802 large cent and a wasted CT. copper. Was lucky the plow didn't damage any of the coins.

Love that pic! I once walked across a plowed field to get to a site and decided I'd swing across. Found 2 1700s coppers on top. The beauty of those plowed field. The dirty pics are always my faves
