Some pic's of Southern Utah and I drove 70 plus miles on dusty dirt roads today in Northern Arizona. Weather is fantastic and I and my truck need a bath.

Nice pics tamroc. Was that of Bryce Canyon?
I've gone through there several times. Also seems like area around st George.
We used to go to Panguitch lake and fish lake. Love the country and fishing. Maybe someday I'll get back. Maybe do some detecting through there.
I think it's billy the kids cache up north that people have been searching for.
Then of course butch Cassidy's stash as well.
It'd just be nice to see those canyons again.

I didn't get over to St George, One is on Utah hwy 89 south heading to Kanab and some are close to the entrance to Bryce canyon along Utah hwy 12 and a trip I took to a couple of urainum mines close to the north rim of the Grand canyon in nothern Arizona. Here are a couple more along hwy 12. The sun was going down and I called it a day in Torry, Utah. I'll take some more pictures today as I'm still not out of the canyon lands yet. I got all day to get to Denver, as thats all I have to do today.

we don't call it NORTH Arizona..it is the Arizona strip...

beautiful photographs...hope you enjoyed
I've heard that term "Arizona Strip" just wasn't ever sure where that is. From now on I'll be making calls to the Arizona Strip. Thanks!

Pippin. I've been here my whole life and I've never heard it referred to as "the strip". Lol

When I was driving from Kanab to lake Powell, there was a B-52 flying low through the canyon, right at us. Man that was a sight. Don't know why they flew so low, but was impressed seeing this Flying Fortress going through that area.

I lived in Colo. Spgs. in the 80s and would see those massive birds fly low all the time. At times it looked if they tippid a wing any further close to the ground it be torn off.
