Will be heading out to a convention on 11/26. Will be taking E-trac. Anyone know of areas that would be of interest to me. I can always hunt dry sand--any suggestions there? Thanks

Are you watching the weather there? Currently snowing.
Temps forecast to be below freezing every night this week; snow predicted off and on.
Your luck might be better on the nearby 'slots'.

Don....

Haven't been there in years but just down the road from incline there's a "nudie" beach (ask any local). Used to be good right up against the rocks & inbetween them where you hike down from the road. If that doesn't work run up the road towards truckee where the rafters put in. The parking areas and river side used to be really good. Not sure if it's still open but if you get bored go to the Ponderosa ranch (where they filmed Bonanza)& take the tour. Also on the other side of the lake I think it's called Meek Bay they rent boats & have a boat that gives tours of the lake the beaches around the docks there might still be good. Since it's off season you shouldn't have trouble finding places to search.

I betcha a nudie beach is, well mostly naked. :laughing7:
