Yes sir it sure is an indian artifact looks like a scraper or tool of some sorts you need to look in that are some more ;) nice find !!!

As Painter said an artifact. May have a recent nick in the right pic where it looks like the patina changes. Pretty cool looking find. Good eye.

thank you for your help... I found it metal detecting an old home site. I didn't think at that kind of artifact, but I have been Lucky to see it.

Pretty material throw it in your collection of other stuff you have found. I agree its a type of tool, rock

I have seen quite a few Indians and that does not look like them !!!! Now Indian artifact that's something different, it is an artifact.

I believe that is a "Native artifact" unless is was found in India?

Flake knife imo

imo you do have some type of an artifact or worked piece
which i believe to be either an unfinished piece or at first glance of the left hand image i thought an expedient spokeshave/scraper type tool
if you have time go back to that area and do some more hunting......there is a good chance it will pay off for you

good luck

Underneath that patina is dark Texas rock. I got a bucket or two of that stuff in the garage waiting to get broke!!!

Nice find.

I have found this Native American artifact near San Antonio - Texas... thank you all for your answers, and for sure, I will return there to see if I can find more..

Dont forget to post your finds for us to see. HH, rock

is someone has an idea about how old is this tool?

I have no idea about the age you'd really need to find a projectile point in close proximity to take a guess.
I do love the patina on that one.. Just judging by that I would say it definitely has some years on it.
Like has been mentioned the material beneath it is likely a nice dark...or even root beer color

thank you GatorBoy.. I will return there tuesday and see if I can find more..

Your welcome and good luck if there's any moving water close to it I would definitely check areas that have been eroded and where gravel have gathered
