Great Seal is what that design was called. Was used in ww1 onward. It had a threaded post on the back for attachment to a uniform. Google "Great seal collar disc" and you will see:thumbsup:

Thanks again for the info man!! That helps a lot. Wonder if I can tell if it’s WW1 or Ww2.
