Sharing this Indian head cent that has a hole in it. I found a large cent once like this. I guess people where afraid to loose their money. Oh, and some other things.

Very nice finds! That 74 Indian is a better date and in great shape- the hole adds even more character- Congrats!

Awesome! Just the other week I found a LC w/a hole it it too. I think people of the next generation holed them to wear a necklace when the design changed but that's just my guess. Strange the hole on your Indian would be on the side instead of the top for that purpose though.
