Indian Head Penny 1885... guess where?

[SeekSilver]

Found this today in Orlando. What's ironic is I found this so very old Indian Head in a Park called Cherokee! Ha.

Cool

I thought for sure you were gonna say you found it in your change from a 7-11 in Scrappy's hometown...not sure you knew of that potential.

Cool find!

Congrats on the great find, and welcome to the forum. It looks like there is a lot of crud on your coin. Sometimes a great looking coin is hiding inside. Outside of a little rim damage, don't be surprised if your IH coin is in pretty nice shape. Consider letting it soak in mineral oil for a week and then toothpicking off the soft outer layer.

Nice Job. Yep ya just never know

Gee...so profound...I'm shocked...

I'd really be more suprised if it was found in Pontiac Michigan...
