Hello All, I am going to be going to Indiana in a few weeks. I am going to have a few free days to go play out in the woods. Where is a public place to to go do some panning. I dont mind if i need to go for a hike. Where is the best place to find information about these areas?

Thank you so much for your help.

I believe virtually all gold found in Indiana in the past was found in and around Brown County. Bean Blossom creek comes to mind.

Chuck Lassiter of Indiana and inventor of the Hydro-Force Nozzle found lots of gold in Indiana up along the Wabash River. He even has a book out (I forgot the name of it) But I have it somewhere ???

Yep I have Chucks book also and he autographed it for me ! I went to a outing he had in Indiana many years ago and had a great time !
