That wasn't it. I really never heard of that till recently.

This was something my dad alwaus turned on when i came to visit. Back in the late 1900's I remember seeing them. But might have been just after the turn of the century.

I went looking, but only found the possibility of Gold Fever on the outdoor channel. I remember some GPAA involvement somehow, but I wasnt much into gold at the time. I couldn't find anything that was detecting.

I just remember them being non-dramatic, and somewhat interesting, like an outdoors show, and everyone seemed to look like Wilford Brimley, ZZ Top, or Sam Elliot.
