Last night was just one of those nights where I knew if I attempted to lay down I would roll around all night rather than sleep. I decided that instead of rolling around, I would take my detector to the vacant lot next to my house and try out my new 8x6 coil. For some reason large nails were giving me a high tone so I ended up digging a ton of those. However, a couple of the high tones were true. I was able to pull 2 Lincoln's, 2 wheats (1911 and 1926) and a 1904 "O" barber quarter. I would have been happy with just the wheats! Popping old silver out of a plug at 3am is an awesome feeling! All targets were around 6 inches down and all were mixed in with iron. The smaller SEF coil works great!
