After watching the news this morning, I would just wish for intelligent life in Washington D.C.

He is a 'natural' politician. Asked a question and then responded to the question but did not give a direct reply. He never said yes I believe or no, I do not believe. He said there is no proof.
Probably no proof that he has personally viewed, therefore if he has not examined it personally, there is no proof. Evidently his idea of proof is a piece of physical evidence from an alien culture, but he must personally inspect it to determine that it is actually an item form an alien culture. How he will determine that was not discussed. Then again, if someone did have such evidence it would either be confiscated or ignored and ridiculed by the agencies that could verify it.
There are many mysteries found here on planet earth dating back thousands of years. Ancient cultures that have knowledge that we have no idea how they obtained it. Building sites that we have no idea how the 'primitive' cultures managed to construct the buildings and other structures. We can not duplicate some of these building feats, even today with our current knowledge and equipment. Many cultures have stories of people coming from the sky, but we do not have their bodies or their ships to examine, just the word of ancient cultures that it took place. Airline pilots who see strange objects and will not report them due to the fear of losing their jobs or being ridiculed of making such reports. All major governments have classified files on Unidentified Flying Objects. If they do not exist, why classify them? If they present no threat, why classify the information?
If these objects are from another solar system and intelligently controlled, the governments of our planet will not acknowledge it. They have many excuses. It will cause the people to panic. It will destroy the religions of the world. We would have to admit that we have no defense against such craft and their occupants. Or even the possibility that the governments will have to admit that they have knows about these craft and their occupants for generations and have lied to us about it..... for our own good.
Perhaps one day the truth will be known, but until that day comes I would settle for a simple Yes or No answer, rather than a stand up comedy act to a simple question.

“Charles worked in close contact with Tall Whites, a species that I had been previously unfamiliar with. Over a period of months he learned to lose his fear of the aliens who lived, worked and played on Air Force property.

Did they ever figure out how that skull was made that HP investigated way back when? I seriously don't know, but it was said that we could not duplicate the craftsmanship 
The OOPs (out of place) objects are interesting, although most are questionable. I do think we underestimate our ancestors...they were anatomically the same ("Homo Sapiens ... reaching full behavioral modernity around 50,000 years ago"). The fact is, that every so many millions of years, a major death causing indecent occurs, at least the major ones that we can unearth and investigate due to the extreme clues that the major ones leave. They can tell us that again and again, every so many years, a major catastrophe happens, and that (not necessarily the strongest) survive. The organisms that are able to adapt, or, weather the storm (so to speak) can further evolve. Evolution is nothing more than tangents in the DNA of organisms. So, I guess the next time you see a person with 6 fingers on one hand, don't be so apt to call them 'disfigured'. They, are the next evolutionary chain in our own existence.

The problem is there are no diamonds in that region of the world or anywhere near it for that matter. And even so, they would still have needed the use of some machinery to have achieved that level of fine cutting. So how were these stones cut without the use of modern technolgogy? "
